CPCC Services Corporation


The Services Corporation supports CPCC through the development of entrepreneurial products and services and in its commitment to advancing the life-long educational development of adults. We currently operate 14 businesses and 33 subsidiaries, which include the projects listed below.

Services Corporation Administration: The Services Corporation Administration unit is responsible for the oversight and fiscal management of all Services Corporation businesses and subsidiaries.

Harris Conference Center (HCC): Harris Conference Center is Charlotte's only purpose-built executive conference facility. Located on the Harris Campus of Central Piedmont Community College, HCC boasts the perfect setting for your next meeting. With 14 thoughtfully designed conference rooms and a dedicated professional staff, HCC combines state-of-the-art technology with excellent service.

Performing Arts & Events Facilities: CPCC Performing Arts & Events Facilities offer a variety of multi-use performance, event and meeting facilities for lease.

Center for Applied Research (CFAR): Center for Applied Research offers a variety of services to Educational Institutions, Associations, Chambers of Commerce, businesses, and community/non-profit organizations.

ACA Conference: Conference hosted annually for ACA community college faculty and staff in North Carolina and the surrounding states.

Institutional Effectiveness Conference (IE): CFAR is the sponsor of the annual Institutional Effectiveness Conference which provides training to institutions of higher education to assist them in conducting effective outcome assessments to meet the requirements of accreditation agencies.

Collegiate Test Prep: Collegiate Test Prep provides students with small group non-credit test prep instruction at an affordable price.

CPCC Summer Experience: The CPCC Summer Experience offers week-long camps during the summer months for elementary, middle and high school students.

Teen Coding Institute: The Teen Coding Institute is geared toward middle and high school students who are interested in learning how to become a full-stack developer. Taught by industry experts, students will learn how to plan, design, develop, deploy and maintain a web based application through this intensive multi-week module driven course.

Leadership Management Professional Development (LMPD): Leadership Management & Professional Development services are multi-faceted, client based workforce development consulting projects where traditional FTE's are not generated.

Innovative Solutions Center: Innovative Solutions Center is a project designed to develop professional development and curricular resources for local, state, and national adult education organizations.

College Courseware: College Courseware is a conduit via which the College allows faculty to writer their own textbook content.

Machining Technologies: Machining Technologies conducts Integrated Systems Technologies lab assessments, which are self-paced engineering modules.

FSI Educational Vendors (FSI): FSI Educational Vendors is a fee-based, e-learning platform designed and maintained to host financial services online training that can be resold at partner institutions.
